About us
Jagattu Mass for Awareness Federation is a volunteer-based pan-Indian Nonprofit Organisation which concentrates and facilitates the policy awareness activities of the governments of India.
Development begins at the grassroots level and it begins here with enlightened citizens. From literacy and schooling to healthcare and the right to vote, from environment and conservation to computer literacy and social reforms — bridging the policy formulation and awareness gap is the mission.
We are not merely another Nonprofit. We are a movement of people – highly skilled professionals, former government officials, grassroots volunteers at the local level, teachers, technologists, and young people’s leaders – united by a shared vision: In making awareness the foundation of nation-building.

Auto Awareness as a Portfolio
We are going beyond safety messages. Our “Auto Awareness” program is a total portfolio of interactive workshops for environment-safe transportation, joint partnerships for in-built safety communications with the automakers, and grassroots campaigns making the roads a personal and social responsibility.
Digital Democracy Tools
Innovation is how we bridge the digital divide. With the application of mobile applications, QR codes and AI-based feedback, we create a two-way traffic for communications. In this manner, citizens not only get the access to the information but also make real-time inputs and feedback such that the campaigns are dynamic, data-driven and reflective of the people’s requirements.
Educational & Health Awareness
We are conducting targeted awareness campaigns in areas of acute educational and health disparities. It comprises promoting the imperative of primary learning and vocational skills and preventive practices and mental wellbeing. The use of a mix of digital and grassroots strategies enables us to reach these important messages in every household.
Environmental Stewardship & Carbon Credit Innovation
We are cultivating the next generation of green citizens. Our campaigns emphasize the absolute necessity of safeguarding nature and wildlife and encouraging green responsibilities for the salvation of Mother Earth. In addition to sensitization, we are also initiating environmental carbon credit initiatives for the minimization of carbon deposits in the atmosphere. These consist of tree plantation campaigns, the use of renewable energy sources, clean cooking initiatives for rural populations, and waste-to-energy initiatives. Citizens and communities involved in such initiatives can themselves make measurable reductions in the field and align grassroots activity with global climate targets.
Civic & Democratic Engagement
We are pioneering a new kind of active citizenship. Our activities are focused upon teaching about the rights and responsibilities of citizens in a democracy. Our campaigns regarding voting rights, constitutional values, and the value of people’s participation render abstract ideals understandable. In making them readily comprehensible, we make people active and informed participants in the nation-building process and passive knowledge effective.
Disaster Preparedness
It is in this commitment that we create a resilient nation through natural disaster awareness initiatives. Our initiatives train the general populace in matters relating to emergency preparedness by providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills such as first aid, evacuation procedures, and communication. Our goal is for citizens to stand as a “hard core” support system capable of complementing national efforts during emergencies, floods, earthquakes, and any other natural calamities.
Inclusive Awareness Models
Our campaigns are of the people. We also actively look for and propagate the voices of women, the differently-abled and the rural segments in easily accessible formats and mediums. This way, we ensure any citizen in any background and any location can become informed and enabled. We lay special emphasis in providing specially prepared and simplified inputs for the differently-abled in the form of audio description, sign language interpretation and in the use of the touch medium.
Cultural Storytelling
We believe awareness should be as engaging as a good story. We make tough policy exciting stories using folk theatre, street plays, songs, and festivals. Our riskiest project is a new weekly cartoon series relating significant government policy and social issues in a common-language cartoon style—a picture language grasped across states and cultures. What was a monthly production is going weekly in answer to the growing need for effective easily understood material.
